Description The objective of the project is to offer integrated services promoting entrepreneurship in the tourism sector in the three target regions of Bucharest-Ilfov, Sud Muntenia and North East.The Project is targeting an economic sector that has very large “spill-over” effects to the overall economy, and it can employ a significant percentage of the population. Tourism is crucial in the future economic development of the country, and it has a huge potential for expansion.This is one of the reasons why our Project is designed as a comprehensive intervention that will assist in promoting entrepreneurial culture through creativity and innovation, increasing capacity of existing and potential professionals in the tourism industry through comprehensive training, developing the entrepreneurial and managerial skills that are in short supply, and ultimately improving the economic status of a significant number of people.The Project is an integrated intervention that will be implemented through four intervention axes, which are expected to assist in cumulatively attaining its specific objectives, and providing added value.The specific objectives are:
  • 1. To improve the skills, competences and knowledge of tourism businesspeople in order to increase their entrepreneurial culture, further develop the tourism sector, and generate economic and social benefits,
  • 2. To provide certified vocational training that will increase the specialisation level of managers and employees in tourism SMEs in order to increase their skills and employability and assist the businesses in which they work to expand and become more competitive,
  • 3. To assist people who want to start their own business to establish new tourism enterprises through the provision of integrated start-up services including entrepreneurship counseling, training, tutorship and subsidies,
  • 4. To increase the level of awareness and the positive attitude of the target group in the three target regions about the benefits of entrepreneurship in the tourism sector.

Title DURABIL – From subsistence to sustainability

Description The objective of the project is to develop flexibilility in the labor market by increasing the allocation of rural non-agricultural activities, promoting entrepreneurial spirit, and by drawing on non-agricultural activities of people in subsistence and engaged agriculture. Therefore, increase of employment and participation rate in rural non-agricultural activities is critical.The general objective is supported by: the opportunities for human resources development and development of rural labor markets, particularly inclusive, and the need to reduce working exclusion process for socio-professional categories in rural areas.Agriculture is the core livelihood of the rural economy, but non-agricultural activities and other activities generated by these sources are becoming increasingly important for households in rural areas. Development of non-agricultural sector is a key factor for providing increasing employment and income to workers. Training and entrepreneurship improvement leading to modernize the educational capital, improve capital, ensuring socio-economic integration in non-agricultural sectors in rural areas and also help reduce social inequality.Thus, the overall objective of the project is to promote social inclusion of particular types of people into the rural labor market, by providing training, re-training and development of entrepreneurship in target groups (under priority axis 5 “Promoting active employment measures”).The specific objectives are:
  • 1. Increase and expansion of employment opportunities in rural non-agricultural activities,
  • 2. Promotion and development of entrepreneurial forces in rural areas,
  • 3. Developing models of good practice for inclusion in the labor market for women, youth and long-term unemployed in rural areas.

Description The overall objective of the Project is to promote and support job creation of Roma women in cooperatives, and increasing their employability through increase in their qualification level and offer of increased employment opportunities.The specific objectives are:
  • To assist in the establishment, development and implementation of Roma women’s cooperatives for the production of local products and services in selected Romanian Regions.
  • To train a number of Roma women in specific and in basic vocational skills, including entrepreneurship, computer literacy and provide certified training for specific skills based on region-specific labour demand/trends.
  • To put into operation, in selected regions in Romania, one-stop employment shops aimed at integrating the Roma population into the active workforce
  • To promote awareness of Roma issues in social inclusion at the regional and municipal levels.

Title RIES – Incubators network of social economy – strategic approach to human resource development

Description The overall objective is to develop specific initiatives of social economy, helping the disadvantaged, policy makers and providers of social services for these groups to play an active role in improving the living conditions of disadvantaged groups and the level of development of their communities.The specific objectives are:
  • 1-increasing level of specific knowledge of the potential and prospects of Social Economy at the national and European level.
  • 2-increasing quality of care provided in the area of social economy initiatives through the development of a specific structure and a network of professionals who promote and support social entrepreneurship for disadvantaged group.
  • 3-improving national practices to support social entrepreneurship through the development of an integrated package of services often interested in developing specific initiatives Social Economy.
  • 4-increasing the number of people who are active in the labor market and belong to the disadvantaged group by providing integrated services and assistance for initiating income generating activities.

Description The overall objective of the project is to improve employment services for 560 long-term unemployed people and job seekers in the North-East and South Muntenia region.The project will have a long-term positive effect on the local population: it will strengthen employability and enhance social and professional integration of the target groups into a competitive labour market and will improve their quality of life by increasing the level of training and employment rates.The project brings a contribution to the overall objective of the HRD OP, since it activities intend to increase trainees’ competitiveness in the labour market by matching their professional qualifications with the labour market requirements.
